Location

Robina, Gold Coast

Preliminary planning for the Gold Coast Athletes Village on QIC-owned land at Robina Town Centre is underway.

The Queensland Government will continue to work with QIC, Council and the private sector to deliver the infrastructure for the Gold Coast Athlete Village.

The site is largely vacant land, offering views over water and green space, with excellent road and transport connections to the city centre and Gold Coast Airport.

After the Games, the village will provide around 500 permanent dwellings for South East Queensland’s growing population and enhance ongoing urban development of the Robina Town Centre.

Brisbane 2032 use:

The Gold Coast Athletes Village will house around 2,600 athletes and team officials for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Athlete villages are being considered within the 100 Day Review into Games infrastructure and planning.
