Brighton Homes Arena, also known as Ipswich Stadium, is the home of the Brisbane Lions AFLW team and a 10,000 seat boutique stadium.
The new stadium which opened in December 2022, has been designed with community and legacy at its heart, promoting an all-year-round open community hub featuring modern amenities and equipment, indoor training facilities, a gymnasium, a pool, a childcare centre and an outdoor events space.
Brisbane 2032 use:
Ipswich Stadium is earmarked to host the Olympic modern pentathlon with 10,000 spectator seats.
While there are no major works required at this facility as part of the Brisbane 2032 infrastructure program, shortly before the Games, the venue will be prepared for hosting Brisbane 2032 events.
