Preliminary planning for the Gold Coast Athlete Village on QIC-owned land at Robina Town Centre is underway. The Queensland Government will continue to work with QIC, Council and the private sector to deliver the infrastructure for the Gold Coast Athlete Village. The site is largely vacant land, offering views over water and green space, with excellent road and transport connections to the city centre and Gold Coast Airport.

The Gold Coast Athlete Village will house around 2600 athletes and team officials.
