The Brisbane Showgrounds is the home to the Ekka, our annual Royal Queensland Show. It’s situated within an events and lifestyle precinct with world-class facilities,. Major international artists and groups have booked the showgrounds for concerts and festivals.

The Brisbane Showgrounds is earmarked to host the Olympic and Paralympic equestrian events, with 15,000 spectator seats, including 10,000 temporary seats.

While there are no major works required at this facility as part of the Brisbane 2032 infrastructure program, shortly before the Games, the venue will be prepared for hosting Brisbane 2032 events.
