Eagle Farm, Brisbane

The Royal Queensland Golf Club nestled on the banks of the Brisbane River is Queensland’s premier golf club and one of the finest in Australia.  Originally established in 1920, the club underwent a makeover with a new 18-hole course in 2007.

The club has been a venue for many national professional championships and major tournaments including the Australian Open, the Australian Amateur and the Australian PGA Championship.  The golf course, expansive practice facilities, and five-star hospitality services make it an ideal venue for major events.

Brisbane 2032 use:

The Royal Queensland Golf Club is earmarked to host the golf events, with capacity for 15,000 spectators with some temporary seating.

While there are no major works required at this facility as part of the Brisbane 2032 infrastructure program, shortly before the Games, the venue will be prepared for hosting Brisbane 2032 events.

All venues are being considered within the 100 Day Review into Games infrastructure and planning.

The Brisbane 2032 venues and villages program currently includes competition venues for hosting 28 Olympic and 22 Paralympic sports.
