Current Status
All venues are being considered within the 100 Day Review into Games infrastructure and planning.
Logan is one of the fastest growing areas in south-east Queensland and with an expected population of 500,000 by 2041, the Logan Indoor Sports Centre will deliver the city’s largest piece of community infrastructure to help meet the current and future community sport needs.
The universally accessible and sustainable venue will feature nine multi-purpose indoor courts across two separate halls, perfect for sports such as basketball, netball, volleyball, futsal, handball, wheelchair rugby, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, badminton, fencing, table tennis, taekwondo and gymnastics.
Venue users can also benefit from a café, kiosk, function rooms, administration office and onsite car parking.
Brisbane 2032 use:
Logan Indoor Sports Centre could be used as a training or competition venue during the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and will be able to cater for 7,000 spectators.
